Priya daniels was a lifelong scout turned lead camp counselor, a position she coveted and cared for deeply. Having a comparably easy life living out in the woods, her family made sure she had all the skills to survive out in the wilderness. With a father that prefered being off the grid following her mother's lost battle with cancer, she did little to interact with others. The streams, plants, and animals that surround the woods where they lived being her playground. When she was old enough, he taught her how to shoot and hunt. She never asked what made her father so against other people, only relishing in the love he showed her as they shared hobbies. Not being able to live like her father, she applied and worked at a summer camp following his passing. Never wanting love or children herself, but something in them reminded her of her own childhood, so she returned every year. It was the same this year when she was talking a group of older campers on a weekend hike as the Mist rolled in. She could survive on her own, she knew that.... but watching over a dozen or more people that lacked her skill, she couldn't. Priya abandoned her troop somewhere in the woods between the campsite and the mall, knowing that with her speed and wilderness knowledge she would be able to handle whatever monsters came out of the Mist. This held true for over a month before her wounds and isolation began to drive her mad, hearing voices in the mist, having killed a creature that looked like her making her question herself. She needed people. She wasn't her father, and it would drive her mad trying to be. So when she spotted a beacon of light that was the Mall, she ran as fast as her legs would allow.

Her first day in the Mall was a nightmare. After sneaking during some of the chaos, her attempt to make a meal to get in with the Mall goers led to a department fire. Killing one and burning down a section of the structure. Since then she has shown to be a solo scout, throwing herself at the creatures and running off ahead of the group to many's dismay. While her combat skills make her a monster in her own right, socially she was broken from her time alone in the mist; speech simple and often acting without warning. While attempting to make amends and learn about those in the mall, her own identity became something of a struggle as she fought to iron out her place amongst the people. After numerous illnesses' and folks voicing their concerns, Priya's mentality has slowly begun to shift. Still determined to make the Pioneer pay for what he wrought, she is learning to be a part of society again instead of just fighting for it. Time will tell if these connections will become fuel towards the ultimate goal, or the nail in the coffin for this danger seeking ranger.
