Sir Kenneth Barclay is the father of Amelia Barclay. Kenneth's first wife Lorna, Amelia's mother, died when Mia was just 9 years old. He remarried and his second wife was a nightmare of a woman. When Kenneth realized his second wife Marie, was not only cheating on him but also driving Mia away, he divorced her. Kenneth and Mia live in Maine and after training his daughter in the ways of the sword she went on a soul searching quest for adventure. Kenneth is in his late 40's, 6'4", has dark brown hair and also carries a sword. He's strikingly handsome and very wealthy, strong, smart, and resourceful. Before Mia's soujourn he implanted her hand with a GPS tracker and placed one in each hilt of the swords Mia carried.

The signal stopped at a mall in Kentucky and has not progressed towards Mia's goal in the Florida Keys. Kenneth is suspicious something went wrong and is on a search for his beloved daughter.
