Tallulah Nasrin Taheri was born and grew up under unfortunate circumstances in Los Angeles, CA. Her mother died in a serious car wreck when Tully was still at a pre-teen, leaving her with her father and deaf older brother. Growing up alongside her brother Navid, Tully learned sign language quickly to help her brother communicate with the world. After the death of his wife, her father started drinking during the daytime and eventually got into some trouble with some local criminals. He decided to leave LA with his children before he got beaten or killed by his "business partners," collecting their most important possessions and stealing away into the night with Tully and her brother in their car, heading towards Louisville without looking back.

Feeling a little robbed of her childhood, she grew up as a track star, running everywhere, and quickly. She had plenty to run from, too. Her home life was lacking and she felt school was a waste of time, not finding many meaningful connections there either. Tully's father, trying his best to provide for his family, worked odd jobs in contracting, but a lasting job never seemed to be available for him. For lack of money and a proper job, Mr. Taheri started dealing and trafficking large amounts of drugs in and out of the city with the help of his son. After a few years, the inevitable happened and the LVPD arrested Tully's father and brother after a sting operation had been concluded on the two due to the betrayal of an associate turned into a criminal informant in exchange for reduced charges and sentencing. After a quick court hearing, Mr. Taheri and his son were sent to Rosewood Correctional in the southern most part of the county. The community was satisfied seeing two brown men behind bars. It was a different time.

Tully did her best to stay in contact with her brother and father in prison with varying success. Sometimes it would take months for her father to respond to her letters. He wanted her to be able to just live her life without worrying about them. She continued to train at a gym with a mentor who became like family after she graduated high school and went to college, staying fit and strong. She'd pay her bills by working at various clubs. Bartending and cocktail waitressing came easy to her, she had a heavy pour, making her popular, and she enjoyed talking to the patrons. She even managed to connect with the quiet ones through knowing looks and nods. Known to give out a fake name and change her appearance sometimes, Tallulah justified the white lies as a necessity to protect herself and her reputation during the day while she patrolled the halls of the ER while finishing up her residency. Sometimes Tallulah sometimes still misses the tips, the lifestyle, the freedom and fun.

Tallulah is guarded initially; but has a sincere desire to get to know people, finding it easier to work with those she understands the morals and motivations of. She is attracted to depth and nuance and is incredibly observant, coming off as coy at times. She has been through much more than her appearance or demeanor would suggest, giving her a unique view of the world which she believes could use more compassion and empathy. Finding a person's unique quirks, opinions, and goals can be one of life's purest pleasures in Tully's opinion, who is often driven to understand others around her and help them resolve whatever stands in the way of their happiness and success. Along with a disarming charm, others would describe Tully as focused, dependable, resourceful, playful, sarcastic, curious, and loving. When it comes to her career however, Dr. Taheri is fiercely protective of her professional reputation, willing to go to lengths to make sure her good name isn't tarnished.

Tully works and maintains a job at the Louisville St. Peregrin Hospital Emergency Department as one of their best rising physicians. Still relatively new out of her residency - she still has been milling around ideas of whether her dreams reside in the hospital, an office, or as a something different altogether. Getting her medical degree meant more than just money to her, it was the freedom that called out to her. Getting high on experience, she decided to start trying them all, buying a property in West Point. It was a two-story with a storefront; a perfect little urgent care clinic she could live above temporarily where patients could come in for a wide rage and variety of ailments; including and ranging from the sniffles to serious lacerations and more serious injuries. Tully is at the mall in search of furniture, decoration, inspiration (and maybe a little shopping for herself). Her goal is to curate a space that puts patients at ease as soon as they walk in the door. A clinic that feels chic and is luxurious, but doesn't charge like it. All she knows is that it has to be just absolutely -perfect-. When she heard the screams and spun around, watching the droplets of blood run down the window's glass, she gasped, though her own squeak of a scream had been muffled by her closed fist to her lips.
