On that faithful day he was watching the mall through CCTV from the desk, while he did spot the fog approach he initially paid it no mind. It wasn't until much later when it hit the fan that he realized somethings very wrong and with his first instinct being to call 911 via landline phone in the office, suprisingly enough call was reached by Jefferson County-Louisville Metro Dispatch Center and after brief talk they promised they will sent a patrol car & ambulance over, neither of which ever arrived, possibly taken out inside the mist. In meantime he headed out to public area of the mall and began to discuss next step with the survivors.
